RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE TEACHER AND THE TAUGHT

Different people have different ideas about the relationship between the teacher and the taught. Yet, if one truly seeks spiritual progress, this relationship becomes a very important part of the journey.

I know this from my own experience. I spent many years with my Master, living with him, serving him, walking with him, joking with him, arguing with him, getting scolded by him, sometimes even getting slapped by him, and occasionally being thrown out, bag and baggage! What I mean is that if you are a really serious sadhak, before accepting someone as your teacher, there must be careful deliberation. This is not a decision to be made suddenly

As you learnt to take your first steps, it quietly found its roots. As you grew through the seasons of life, it reached a little higher towards the sky. Year after year, it stood beside your journey, offering shade, shelter and life to countless others. What a beautiful reminder that from the very beginning, your life and nature have always been growing together.

A long-cherished dream has blossomed at the Sri Guru Babaji Temple, Nooranad with the establishment of a gaushala and the arrival of two Punganur cows—the honored first residents of this sacred sanctuary. Safely entrusted to their dedicated caretaker, their arrival marks the auspicious beginnings of Gau Seva on the premises.
