RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE TEACHER AND THE TAUGHTDifferent people have different ideas about the relationship between the teacher and the taught. Yet, if one truly seeks spiritual progress, this relationship becomes a very important part of the journey.
I know this from my own experience. I spent many years with my Master, living with him, serving him, walking with him, joking with him, arguing with him, getting scolded by him, sometimes even getting slapped by him, and occasionally being thrown out, bag and baggage! What I mean is that if you are a really serious sadhak, before accepting someone as your teacher, there must be careful deliberation. This is not a decision to be made suddenly Growing Together: A New Beginning for Every Life![]() As you learnt to take your first steps, it quietly found its roots. As you grew through the seasons of life, it reached a little higher towards the sky. Year after year, it stood beside your journey, offering shade, shelter and life to countless others. What a beautiful reminder that from the very beginning, your life and nature have always been growing together.
"The act of planting a tree and taking care of its growth establishes an inner connection with nature. Understanding this inner connection results in our personal growth." — Sri M The Satsang Seva Mission: Weaving Hope and Care, Transforming Communities![]() Behind every warm plate of food, every health checkup, and every classroom lesson lies a simple, enduring truth: community transformation happens when we show up for one another. From the bustling, sun-baked labor hubs of Delhi NCR to the quiet, forested hillsides of Attappadi in Kerala, this month has been yet another testament to the quiet power of concerted community action. Together, our volunteers, healthcare professionals, and educators came together to nourish minds, support health, and restore dignity where it is needed most. Sacred Beginnings: Gau Seva commences at Sri Guru Babaji Temple, Nooranad![]() A long-cherished dream has blossomed at the Sri Guru Babaji Temple, Nooranad with the establishment of a gaushala and the arrival of two Punganur cows—the honored first residents of this sacred sanctuary.
