The Spiritual Teacher & the Spiritual Journey

Sample product

What does it mean to walk the spiritual path, and how should we understand the role of a spiritual teacher?

First of all, you must remember that if somebody has discovered something extraordinary, something that embraces many dimensions and is not ordinarily understood or experienced by people, it would be futile to try to put that person into a bracket based on our three-dimensional experiences...

The Heart of the Matter

Yogic school of thought considers the heart, rather than the logical brain, to be the true centre of spiritual awakening, love, and perception. The Anahata chakra is the spiritual heart – a non-physical, psychic or energetic centre - that lies along the Sushumna, or central energy channel and spatially corresponds to the centre of the chest. The Anahata, meaning the ‘unstruck’, gets its name from the subtle inner sound that may be heard by the yogi when the main prana or energy enters this important centre...

The Sacred Grove is what Sri M had envisioned it to be — a quiet sanctuary for the sincere seeker.

What is deeply heartening is that this is happening without any structured retreats or programmes. And yet, people are finding their way here—making a booking and coming to stay, often simply with the intention of being quiet, reflecting, and turning inward.

This, perhaps, is the true spirit of what Sri M envisioned for The Sacred Grove: a space that does not seek to draw people to itself, but quietly remains available to those who are inwardly seeking such a space...

Small Steps towards Lasting Change:
My Bhoomi's Journey Towards a Plastic-Free Environment

Sample product

Environmental change often begins with the simplest of actions—picking up discarded plastic, choosing a reusable bag or encouraging someone to be more mindful of the waste they leave behind. When these small actions are repeated and shared, they gradually become a collective movement.

Between June and October 2026, My Bhoomi, the environmental initiative of The Satsang Foundation, continued its efforts to address plastic pollution through awareness programmes, cleanliness drives and community participation across Madanapalle, Pune, Bengaluru, Ganagapur and Kerala. What stood out was not merely the quantity of waste collected, but the growing commitment of individuals and communities towards protecting their surroundings.

Nourishing our Communities, Offering Care and Dignity

Amidst the relentless bustle of daily life, it is easy to overlook marginalized groups who keep our cities moving: daily wage earners waiting eagerly for their next assignment; autorickshaw and cab drivers navigating traffic blocks; gig workers rushing off to ensure the deliveries are made on time. While the quiet ones such as children, seniors, and the differently-abled at shelter homes are often relegated to the background.

Through annadaanam seva, educational programs, medical camps, and moments of genuine companionship, volunteers offer nourishment and a space of respite where everyone feels cared for.

Namaste dear TTC family 🙏

What if, for Sir's birthday, we each passed on a little of what we received?

Introducing GURU SEVA WEEK – Each One. Teach Two.

31 October – 6 November

  • Teach a simple yoga practice – 15 minutes or more – to any two people: a parent, friend, colleague or neighbour
  • Choose what suits them: Sukshma Vyayama, asanas, pranayama or meditation
  • In person or online – no need to be a professional yoga teacher
  • BYK gives you our handbook "Yoga for All" (free PDF) with a suggested sequence, and a live Q&A with the teaching team

One small practice. Two new learners. One collective offering to the Guru.
